I used a Hobby Lobby 40% off coupon to buy the a new Boye interchangeable crochet hook set.
I just had to have a set to compare to the set that Boye made in the 1930's.
What do you think?
I like the case on the new hooks but think the old ones are better looking.

I found a pattern for a lovely shawl this morning.
My granddaughter is getting married and I'd like to start a shawl to wear to the wedding. The directions call for a #8 plastic hook....no letters given.
I have none, as I always found them a little hard to work with.
Do you have any idea how they compare in size?
I won't get out until wednesday and would like to practice the stitch in the meantime. Thank you very much.....Jean Foster
